Early morning start with a cache and a 9am tour of the Jiffy Factory in Chelsea, MI. It was an amazing tour; many of the people have worked there for decades and we left feeling like it was a good, family run company. Plus, they gave us free boxes of Jiffy Mix!
Ohio...it’s true, being Glee fans, we made a pitstop in Lima, OH for a Glee photo opp. I don’t think that the old guy volunteering at the visitor center in the old train car had ever seen the show.
Our big stop was the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. Parking in the city with a trailer is rough. But some really nice lady came over and helped us out. She allowed us special parking and Lynn was so relieved.
