Another fantastic day on the road. Left the Upper Peninsula this morning after a run from our campsite on the North Shore National Scenic Trail on Lake Superior. Saw the lighthouse one last time.
Stopped just south of Grand Marias for a cache and headed south, stopping along the way to dip our toes into Lake Michigan! We drove over the famous green Mackinac Bridge and stopped to dip our toes in Lake Huron.
Drove through Gaylord, MI where we happened upon a street festival and music! So much fun.
It was a long day, but we had a nice hotel to stay in and enjoyed the drive south.
