Rails to Trails

After our Katy Trail ride, we had come to the conclusion that we like to ride about 30-35 miles/day on non-paved trails when traveling with all of our camping gear. This leaves time to stretch our legs and to check out the local sites. We do not want to ride all day only to miss out on the historic significance or local flavor of the communities that we visit. When we ride, we are there for the experience. We are not there to see how many miles we can ride in a day or how fast we can ride the trail.
