Drove through Wisconsin today. We saw the strangest road repair ever between Iron River and Ashland — they were tarring the cracks in the road and then covering them with toilet paper! Aside from road repair stops, we stopped for another cache and dipped our toes into Lake Superior in Ashland.
Welcome to Michigan, recycling and home to Randall Bakery. Around 4pm, Lynn had a delicious pasty, which tasted like a chicken pot pie, but there was no tin and you just held it like a sandwich.
We stopped at the Tioga Creek Roadside Park (they provide sanitizer for you to rub around on the toilet seat!) around 7:20 for a bathroom break and then continued on to Pictured Rocks. It was a very long day.
